You have been asked to participate in an analysis of a position with the company.
If a job could talk, it would clearly define the knowledge, hard skills, people skills, behavior and culture needed for superior performance. Your unbiased input regarding the specific requirements of the job above will be applied to the TriMetrix job benchmarking process. The result will be an evaluative report that analyzes a total of 37 separate areas as well as a compilation of behavioral interview questions. Once benchmarked your assessment of the job will help provide a template of the values, behavioral skills, and attributes the job requires in order for the person in the position to be successful.
Before you begin the assessment, review the 5 key responsibilities within the position's job description and then answer the questions based on the requirements of the position. Use the Key Accountabilities worksheet, below, to help you. Please keep in mind that the choices of "Very Important" or "Not Important" are all-or-nothing, meaning, the question/answer must apply to ALL FIVE key responsibilities for you to choose the highest level of importance. Similarly, the question/answer must apply to NONE of the key responsibilities in order for you to choose "Not Important." For example, if a question applies to 1 out of 5 key responsibilities, you can not choose "Not Important."
All of the attributes are good so do not get caught up in the halo effect. Do not say the job requires something just because it is always "a good thing for a person to have or be." When answering a question always focus on the key requirements of the position.
